Industrial steel painting with electrostatic powder paint in Montréal

At Peinture Rive-Sud, our team specializes in the application of electrostatic powder paint for your industrial metal parts.

What is electrostatic powder coating?

This industrial paint takes the form of a powder carrying a positive electrical charge. The conductive part to be painted carries an opposite (negative) charge, enabling the powder to adhere temporarily to the part. The part is then placed in an oven (between 380 and 440 degrees Fahrenheit), allowing the powder to melt and harden. For this type of industrial painting, the quality of the final result is highly dependent on the attention paid to surface preparation as well as on the characteristics of the powder.

Suitable for complex shapes and large volumes, this technique is used in a wide range of sectors, including industrial, commercial, residential, architectural and recreational.

The resin-based industrial paints used

Our team is equipped with the best quality resins available on the market! The main resins we use are epoxy, polyester, polyurethane, acrylic and mixed (epoxy polyester). The use of a high-quality powder primer ensures better resistance against external conditions and oxidation.
